We would like to thank all the lovely people who came to the shows and made us feel so welcome! From the second we stepped on stage in Valencia until the moment we caught our flights home, we shared fantastic times with hungry and excited crowds. In Valencia we met some wonderful Vipertones fans, Noellia and Marco Cake Man we won’t forget you! After the gig in Madrid I enjoyed dancing for nearly 3 hours to Dj Draa iKolk and Phil Martin, with a very talented bunch of break dancers – thank you guys, you were awesome! Tempo club was a very memorable night, thank you Roberto! And in Bilbao we took pictures of the crowd with their hands in the air, screaming! Suddenly the 4/5 hour drives between each gig don’t seem to matter… Rob, our touring hate-smurf couldn’t keep it together, the good times broke the back of that one, and I could have eaten a lot more jamon!
So our next stop is Womad Fesitval in Gran Canaria on Friday 13th November, where we’ll be performing all songs from the album, a couple of cheeky covers with additional horn on stage too! I will be giving a master class the day before, so if you’re about, head down for that!
Pretty soon, we’ll be uncovering the new single from myself and Vipertones and we have plans to film a new video later in the year! Very exciting times people, very exciting!
Also, we have a little Christmas treat for you all too. As we’re all starting to slip into winter, the nights are shortening in light, the leaves are on the ground and Christmas is just around the corner (well almost…) we have decided we’d like to share our Christmas with you, by recording a special song… All details of how to get this exclusive release FOR FREE will follow shortly. Until then, rest knowing that we are all busy creating new tracks for the 2nd album, and we’re not stopping any time soon!!
Wishing you all well.
Peas and potatas, Laura x
