Cool! Our album came out at the beginning of last week and since then the Vipertones and I have been swamped with reviews, interviews, radio shows and gig offers! How fantastic is that? YEAH! Gigs are already staring to come in from all over the world, and we have dates in Greece, Switzerland, Spain, Holland and the Canary Islands confirmed!
It feels amazing to finally have our first baby out there for you all to hear, and we’re getting such excited responses from you! The album opener ‘Roof Off’ is serving great purpose in grabbing your attention, and its heart-warming to know that you all eventually end up in the arms of ‘So Much Love’ by the end. If you haven’t tried looping it, do it! It works. I promise. I know, I’m cheeky, so sue me 🙂
Last week Laura Vane & The Vipertones were album of the week on Radio 6 in Netherlands, and we’re gonna do a performance for them on Monday 21st September! We’ll be live in the studio, and giving a small interview too. Can’t wait! This comes the morning after our gig for the Albert Cuyp Fesival. Looking forward to playing in Holland again! Still loving our support from Craig Charles and Mark Lamarr at the BBC, not to mention the amount of love we’re receiving on Spanish airways, and on much respected peeps podcasts!
Also, we’re getting back on the writing tip. We’re keen to keep giving you what you want, so when I’m next over in the studio, we’ll be playing around with some new ideas…but more on that later. There are some fantastic remixes waiting in line. What you have already heard on the ‘Roof Off’ 12″ is the tip of the iceberg, we have much more planned for you guys!
Vipers fly the nest: Jonathan has crossed the water to reside in Dordrecht now, with the Vipertones family. So it is just me, myself and I representing in the UK. I’m gonna see what kinda storm I can stir up. Mark. My. Words.
